Go Slow to Go Fast

'One of the best pieces of advice I ever got was from a horse master.
He told me to go slow to go fast. I think that applies to everything in life.

We live as though there aren't enough hours in the day
but if we do each thing calmly and carefully
we will get it done quicker and with much less stress.'

Not everybody will like it, but that's OK.'

Phil McGraw

Great quotes, Sue. I found the one from Viggo Mortensen surprising and delightful. And it's been a while since I've heard the expression "horse sense," but I've always liked it.

What I love, Jean, is that horse sense is almost a hold-over from days long ago, yet it's still with us today...as in Mortensen's wonderful quote. I'm working on finding my way to cat wisdom for you primary cat lovers (I love cats too).

'There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.' ~Author Unknown
