A Nostalgic Moment to Say Goodbye to Soft Summer Days

LAVENDER BLUE DILLY DILLY

Lavender's blue dilly dilly,

Lavender's green,

You'll be my king, dilly dilly,

I'll be your queen.

Who told you so, dilly dilly,

Who told you so?

Twas my own heart, dilly dilly

That told me so.

Lavender's Blue sometimes called Lavender Blue is an English folk song and nursery rhyme dating to the 17th century.

Wishing you sweet moments of lolly-gagging and dilly dallying~ and good memories ~to keep yourself warm in winter as summer draws to a close.

Sue, this post doesn't apply to me at all. I will not miss summer. I will not eagerly anticipate the next summer. I am just not a summer girl! The only thing I like about summer is, and this won't surprise you, summer fruit! But to all of you summer girls out there: my condolences. :-)

I, on the other hand, will be counting down the days until next summer...for I am a SUMMER GIRL! :-)

HaHa...love the cross talk! Jean~ I am not a lover of the heat, but I am a lover of the fruits, flowers and veggies of summer. I am also a lover of dilly dallying and making room for love! Wishing you a soft step into fall and cozy days with your loved ones!
