Troubles? Lighten Your Load

When you realize  how perfect everything is you
will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky!
The Buddha

Trouble finds you all by itself--you don't need to go looking for it.

To more effectively deal with your troubles, choose to lighten your load with the help of good friends, good humor, and a positive expectation for the future.

The Buddha also said

'Before enlightenment chopping wood carrying water;
After enlightenment, chopping wood carrying water.'

Why wait for enlightenment  to enjoy life? Find a way to enjoy what you must do and trust life to support you now.

Choose to accept all things seemingly bad or good work in your favor.

Moderate...centrist...independent thinking! Just not accepting the suffering expected by Buddhists. :)

You've done it again, Susan! This post is exactly what I've been thinking about all week! Lightening my load, taking care of today ... I picture myself putting down a huge, lumpy backpack far too heavy for me to carry and slipping on a small, light *day*pack!
