Fall Whispers Sweet Nothings to the Blushing Trees

Love In Pescadero Beach

Fall whispers sweet nothings to the blushing trees;

The trees blush in anticipation
of being stripped bare of all finery
by the cooler days ahead,
after concluding their festive annual
Autumnal parade of color.

Out come the Fall Fairies
With their hearts ablaze
for one final show;
With high kicks of Reds and Gold;
Trumpets blaring Yellow and Orange;
And fire-breathing Crimson Gold
lighting the leaves ablaze.

In Autumn,
The Fall Fairies come
ready to paint our lives
with an explosion of color
followed by a shimmery dance
of leaves like fireworks
 falling to the ground.

They fill our hearts with all the deep hues of the season
before silently sliding us into the quiet of Winter,
where we wait out the long days of reflection and renewal
until Spring returns to wake us with cheerful notes of color.
