The Extraordinary is Waiting Quietly Beneath All that is Ordinary
"The further I wake into this life, the more I realize that God is
everywhere and
the extraordinary is waiting quietly beneath the skin of all
that is ordinary.
Light is in both the broken bottle and the diamond,
and music
is in both the flowing violin and
the water dripping from the drainage pipe."
Mark Nepo, The Awakening
"We begin so aware and grateful.
The sun somehow hangs there in the sky.
The little bird sings. The miracle of life just happens."
Mark Nepo, The Awakening

Sue, another inspiring and thought-provoking post. Love the idea of "falling in love with life at first sight." Much to think about here, will definitely be re-reading this one.
Yes, Jean, I am still pondering the profoundness of 'first sight' and 'falling in love with life at first sight'. What a way of seeing. We could take it all the way to having first sight with each blink of the eye clearing the cobwebs and helping us see brand new!
