Accept Miracles
Miracles happen after a lot of hard work.
Endure.
With the smallest seed of faith,
And a little fairy dust,
All things are possible.
Believe.

For all who are struggling with one difficulty or another.
You've got this. You can get through it. You are strong.
For One Who Is Exhausted, a Blessing
"You have been forced to enter empty time. The desire that drove you has relinquished. There is nothing else to do now but restAnd patiently learn to receive the selfYou have forsaken for the race of days.At first your thinking will darkenAnd sadness take over like listless weather. The flow of unwept tears will frighten you.You have traveled too fast over false ground; Now your soul has come to take you back.Take refuge in your senses, open upTo all the small miracles you rushed through.Become inclined to watch the way of rainWhen it falls slow and free.Imitate the habit of twilight,Taking time to open the well of colorThat fostered the brightness of day.Draw alongside the silence of stoneUntil its calmness can claim you.Be excessively gentle with yourself.Stay clear of those vexed in spirit.Learn to linger around someone of easeWho feels they have all the time in the world.Gradually, you will return to yourself,Having learned a new respect for your heartAnd the joy that dwells far within slow time."John O'Donohue
Thank you to Colleen McGinn for
allowing me to play with her

Sue, I love that photo and what you did with it. It has such an uplifting effect. My favorite part of the poem, the one that jumped out at me:
Imitate the habit of twilight,
Taking time to open the well of color
That fostered the brightness of day.
Jean thank you for drawing my attention to that passage! Oddly, I had skipped over it to dwell on:
"Stay clear of those vexed in spirit.
Learn to linger around someone of ease
Who feels they have all the time in the world."
So much richness to dwell on in this O'Donohue poem.
