Be a Joyful Warrior Fighting for a Good Life

💜Rise Up Joyful Like a Bird💙

"When I rise up, let me rise up joyful like a bird.
When I fall, let me fall without regret like a leaf."

Wendell Berry

💙A Spark of Heavenly Fire💓

"There is in every true woman's heart
A spark of heavenly fire
Which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity--
But which kindles up and beams and blazes
In the dark hour of adversity."

Irish Proverb

Three Things Matter

“In the end, just three things matter:

💓How well we have lived
💙How well we have loved
💚How well we have learned to let go”

Jack Kornfield

Hope💓Believe💙Create 💚Experience 💛Express

"What you hope, you will eventually believe.
What you believe you will eventually know.
What you know, you will eventually create.
What you create, you will eventually experience.
What you experience, you will eventually express.
What you express, you will eventually become.
This is the formula for all of life."

Neale Donald Walsch

💓In Your Heart~Always maintain a 'Womb with a View'💓

" Within your heart, keep one still secret spot where dreams may go."

Hold Fast Your Dreams

"Hold fast your dreams!
Within your heart
Keep one still, secret spot
Where dreams may go,
And, sheltered so,
May thrive and grow
Where doubt and fear are not.

O keep a place apart,
Within your heart,
For little dreams to go.
Think still of lovely things that are not true.
Let wish and magic work at will in you.
Be sometimes blind to sorrow.  Make believe.

Forget the calm that lies
In disillusioned eyes.
Though we all know that we must die,
Yet you and I
May walk like gods and be
Even now at home in immortality.

We see so many ugly things-
Deceits and wrongs and quarrellings;
We know, alas we know
How quickly fade
The color in the west,
The bloom upon the flower,
The bloom upon the breast
And youth's blind hour.

Yet keep within your heart
A place apart
Where little dreams may go,
May thrive and grow.
Hold fast-hold fast your dreams!"

What a powerful post and beautiful art, Sue. I don't know how you do it! Another Wendell Berry quote I like is: "I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief."

Thanks, Jean. I do it to articulate life's path in a visual manner. I don't have to think about it...it just comes out so I can see the lessons before me.

I love your sharing another Wendell Berry quote. The one I shared here is a recent share from another friend.
